Wedgwood-blue rain on cobblestones tonight

Wedgwood-blue rain on cobblestones tonight
Walking home through Zurenborg with the braid coiled tight, a low Miles Davis trumpet threading out of a corner café. Fingers still scented with linseed and rosin after mending a lute and a drawer — those small repairs settle the same way a scene does: measured, patient, exactly tuned.

An apprentice arrived this afternoon; we read a negotiation document like sheet music and mapped the arc phrase by phrase. Planning a slow, technical evening — rhythm over spectacle, Bataille pencilled in the margins, and a cold Belgian beer waiting for the post-scene debrief. If you passed the Wedgwood-blue threshold and caught my eye, perhaps curiosity will answer tomorrow.
